Tami - Thanks for stopping by to let me know you enjoyed it! =) And thanks for the compliment. I'll have to tell you my Carrie Fisher story sometime. I approached her a few years ago to ask if she would mentor me. Let's just say hilarity ensued.

Annette:

I read the book and loved it, though I did consume quite a bit of chocolate during the first half of the book. In fact, after acquiring the habit, I continued to eat chocolate through the entirety of the book. Okay, I admit it, I just stopped typing for a second so I could munch down a bit of chocolate cake, and I'm not even broken up with anyone. Seriously though, I enjoyed your memoir and would rank it up there with Carrie Fisher's "Wishful Drinking," which is no small potatoes in my book - you're in good company as a writer there. Keep the good working coming,

Cathy, congratulations on taking the steps to tell your story! I didn't use a subsidy publisher (like iUniverse, AuthorHouse, et al.) or digital print-on-demand technology (LSI). I went the traditional route and got a wonderful NY agent who submitted it to the big publishers. Then I took back my manuscript to publish it myself as memoir, instead of chick-lit fiction (as it was shopped because of the voice and storyline). If you need assistance, I do publishing consulting to help you navigate the steps to the particular publishing path you want to take. Drop me an email if you are interested.
